Wow, so I just read the post that Amber last wrote... Anyway, so we moved in a while ago. Of course the house is never finished... I just painted the outside the day before yesterday, fixed the fence in the back yard today... It's a work our progress! So, Taylor is getting up on all fours now. She rocks back and forth, but anytime she wants to try and advance, she just takes a big leap forward and eats it. We have to monitor her, she's a bit "high energy". Don't know where she gets it! So, I was motivated to write a little blurp on our blog after reading Brenna's... it was too good. BTW, does Aubrey talk to you yet, Brenna? I saw the birthday blog. Anyway, heroes is coming on, so I'll have to give the more interesting details later.

Newer News

Okay okay, sorry we haven't been up on the blogging... so here's our latest...
So as many know, our lil one is here... Taylor Noel Novak, born May 29th, 2008. She weighed in at 6lbs, 9oz, and 19 inches long. Big blue eyes, long piano fingers, the 'Holyoak toe', and her hair all make her look identical to Dad! Lucky for her.... cus shes a doll! She's so alert and so much fun... she's talking (baby talk of course) and rolling over now at only 2 1/2 months... we couldn't ask for more.... or could we? haha, kidding, not yet!

Brett was accepted into the PTA program (physical therapy assistant) and will be starting at the end of August! We're both really excited and I know he's going to be great! We're buying a house and he's spending lots of time over there, fixing the place up... doing his thing! Lucky for us, he knows how to do everything... so that saves us money and thats great!

Amber's not up to much, just working from home and tending to baby... scrapbooking occassionally and dreaming up names for the next baby ;).
So that's our latest for now!

The Status

We are now nearing the end of the pregnancy term with our first child. They say that there are three major stressors that affect peoples lives: getting married, buying a house, and having a kid. We decided to do all three. Brett and I have been going to school for quite some time now at the community college. Brett is applying for the Physical Therapy Assisting program that starts in the fall, and I am finishing with the last class required to get my associates degree. We just finished getting our house plans finalized and are hoping to start the actual building process soon. Our little girl is due around June 11th, and we will be celebrating our 1st year anniversary June 30th. So much going on in such short time. But I figure that this is a good place to start with the blog; ...giving a little history as to whats been going on.
